Mary has been a bookseller for over nine years. Prior to her bookselling career, she was an Executive Assistant for small and large corporations.

 

I learned early on in my bookselling career that people are in this industry because they are passionate about books and connecting readers with the perfect book, not for the money. I am so thrilled to be part of an organization that is there to help booksellers who are experiencing hardship so that they can continue working in their field.

 

Mary lives with her husband outside Chicago tending to their little suburban homestead. They have dogs, chickens and a few fish, and a big yard for their grandsons to enjoy. Mary is also a writer and loves to bake.
