Before joining Binc in 2016 Kathy spent sixteen years helping Ann Arbor-area nonprofits and educational institutions realize their public interest missions. Kathy enjoys building and expanding annual giving and major gift programs, institutionalizing fundraising strategies, and spearheading special events.

Kathy loves connecting supporters to the stories of who they help. Nothing brings her more joy than to share how their spirit of compassion and capability helps bring peace to an unsettling time in someone’s life.

Kathy and her husband Brent have two grown daughters who give them awesome places to visit, Asheville, North Carolina and New York City.  Together, they do lots of bike riding, hiking, and during the summer in Michigan, they are often up north enjoying life on the lake. When their daughters were younger, Kathy and Brent could be found at Borders Books (store #1 in downtown Ann Arbor) on date night.
